Projects
A project is created when a data file is loaded into the Control panel by chosing Load file in the File menu found in the main window, or by pressing the Load button in the Data editor. A new project automatically obtain a data set named Set1, which contains the loaded data file(s). By pressing the Project comment (Pencil) button in the Control panel you can add comments to your project, e.g. including how the data was obtained..

You can save a project by pressing the Export project button, or by choosing Export project in the File menu, both found in the main window. There is also an Export project button found in the Control panel under Projects. When a project is exported, a *.dpx file is created that contains the data of all data files, the settings of all data sets, and any comments. Project files are a convenient way of sharing information about data and results with colleagues and collaborators. You can open a project to GenEx by either pressing the Import project button, or by choosing Import project in the File menu, which you find in the main window. If you want to remove the active project from the Control panel you can press the Delete project button in the main window, or the Cross button under Projects in the Control Panel. This will not erase it from your computer, but simple remove it from the Control Panel.
