Installation and Registration
The latest version of GenEx can be downloaded as a free evaluation copy from www.multid.se. Install GenEx by running the installation file as System Administrator or a user with system administrator priviledges. This starts a program that takes you through the installation process and installs all files, examples, and documentation required to run GenEx. After the installation has completed successfully, restart your computer. The software will appear in the Windows Start menu under Programs in a MultiD folder.
Installation
1. Choose the language of your choice to help guide you through the installation.
2. Select the directory where the installation should be done.
3. Let the command prompt run to finalize the installation.
4. When the installation has completed successfully, you need to restart the computer.
Registration
1. When GenEx is started for the first time, or every time GenEx is started if you are using a demo version of the program, the registration dialog will be displayed. If you have a 30 days trail version, select Evaluate demo version and press Next to start GenEx. The number of remaining days is shown in the dialog. If you have a serial number select Enter serial number and press Next to register your version of GenEx.
2. Enter the Serial number, Name and E-mail in the text boxes. The serial number is on the form GXXXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. Press the Next button to continue.
3. Select Activate online and press Next to register GenEx online. A few questions may follow to correctly connect to the internet. If you have received an activation key from MultiD, select Enter activation key. The activation key is on the form XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.
4. If the online activation fails, press Request activation key by email (see previous figure) to get instructions on how to obtain an activation key. Copy the information and send to activation@multid.se
